Hampton, Va. – The Lady Pirates got the 15th seed in the Memphis Region of the 2010 Women's NCAA Tournament and will face the 2nd seed Duke Blue Devils on Saturday at 2:30 in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Hampton Lady Pirates (20-11) are the 2010 MEAC Tournament Champions and the Duke Blue Devils (27-5) were the regular season and tournament champions in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
“When I saw our team on the TV, I screamed,” said
Jericka Jenkins. “I was very excited and I am ready to play Duke. I feel the keys for us to win are to defend, rebound, and take care of the ball.”
“I am feeling that anything is possible and really believe in Coach Six's vision”, said Freshman

The Lady Pirates are currently on a six game winning streak and will take that up streak up against the Blue Devils on Saturday.
