GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Hampton University volleyball team finished play on Saturday in the Spartan-Aggie Invitational as they lost a pair of 3-0 decisions to Radford and UNC Greensboro.
Earning All-Tournament honors this weekend was
Kyndall Nicholas after a weekend attack percentage of .367, 13 kills, one ace and two blocks.. With the two losses today, Hampton falls to 0-8 on the year, while Radford went to 7-2 and UNC Greensboro is now 4-5.
RADFORD 3, HAMPTON 0
Micah Leavell recorded season-highs in kills (11), assists (2) and tied her season-high in digs (3) to lead the Lady Pirates in the 25-18, 25-14, 25-17 loss to Radford.
Reeana Richardson added eight kills, a season-high three aces and two digs for Hampton, while
Brianna Lilly had 18 assists, six digs and two blocks.
UNC GREENSBORO 3, HAMPTON 0
In the nightcap match, Richardson had 12 kills and nine digs to lead Hampton as they fell 25-15, 25-18, 25-15.Â
Kyndall Nicholas and Leavell recorded five kills each, while Leavell also added nine digs.. Lilly had 24 assists and five digs, while
Summer Humes chipped in with six digs.

Hampton will conclude its pre-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference schedule next weekend in Fairfax, Va. at the George Mason Invitational when they'll take on Loyola (MD), Bryant and the host Patriots.
