EARLYSVILLE, Va. – Highlighted by three top 20 finishes, the Hampton Lady Pirates cross country team finished eighth in a strong field at the Panorama Farms Invitational on Saturday morning.

Juniors Faith Keitany and Janet Okeago finished tenth and 11^th respectively as Keitany covered the 5k course in 17:47.7, while Okeago was just behind her at 17:48.0.  Freshman Eusila Chepkemei was in 20^th in 18:03.5 to highlight the top finishers for Hampton.

Pollyanna Velasco was next for Hampton in 83^rd in 20:23.4, with sophomore Asia Johnson was 92^nd in 21:20.2.

Hampton totaled 184 points to place eighth in the meet won by the host University of Virginia who scored 41 points.

The Lady Pirates will compete again next Saturday in the George Mason Invitational in Fairfax.
