Box Score RADFORD, Va. – Hampton ventured to Radford to match up with the Highlanders and fell 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts took lines one and three in doubles to take the team point.  Hampton won at line two as Cherise Slocombe and Kiah Turner defeated Drousile Dzeubou and Lotti Meszaros 6-4.

In singles, Haley Mullins lost a third-set tiebreaker 10-5 at line five singles.  Yulia Kapitanova dropped a pair of tiebreakers at line two singles in the tightest matches for singles.

Hampton returns to action on Sunday to face Coppin State in a match now moved to Virginia Beach.
