VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Hampton Lady Pirates tennis team continued its run through the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division blanking Coppin State 4-0 on Sunday at the Virginia Beach Tennis & Country Club.

Hampton took wins in both completed doubles matches to earn the team point winning 6-0 at lines one and two.

In singles, Caira Walker won by default at line six to start Hampton off 2-0 in singles.  Yulia Kapitanova followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win at line one and Haley Mullins clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win at line three.

Hampton will return to action on Tuesday afternoon at Mt. St. Mary's (MD) for a 3pm match.
