EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Hampton Lady Pirates concluded their road schedule on Tuesday with a 4-0 win over Mount St. Mary's.
In doubles, the Lady Pirates took all three matches to earn the team point. Hampton (8-7) won 6-3 at lines one and two and 6-4 at line three.
In singles, Hampton won the three completed matches to clinch the dual victory.
Julia d'Auvergne won 6-2, 6-1 at line six to put Hampton up 2-0.
Yulia Kapitanova won at line two 6-1, 6-0 for a 3-0 lead, while
Haley Mullins won 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 at line four to clinch the 4-0 victory.
Hampton goes for a clean sweep of MEAC Northern Division matches on Thursday morning when they host Maryland Eastern Shore at 11 a.m.
