HAMPTON, Va. -- While most of the Hampton University track teams are off this weekend, the team will be busy as they're hosting the Hampton Relays starting Friday afternoon at Armstrong Stadium.

A total of 22 area high school teams will participate in the two-day meet starting at noon on Friday and Saturday's events will commence at 11 am.

High schools participating this weekend include: Bethel, Deep Creek, Denbigh, Gloucester, Granby, Grassfield, Great Bridge, Hampton, Hermitage, I.C. Norcom, Kecoughtan, Kempsville, Lakeland, Landstown, Menchville, Northumberland, Oscar Smith, Phoebus, Poquoson, Varina, Warwick, Western Branch, William Fleming and York.
