Morgan State hands Hampton fourth straight loss

BALTIMORE – The Hampton University women’s volleyball team lost its fourth straight match in its current 10 match road swing today after falling at Morgan State 20-30, 25-30, 24-30.
The Lady Pirates (7-15, 2-4 MEAC) hit for only a -.019 percentage with 26 errors negating 24 team kills, while the host Lady Bears had a .142 percentage paced by the 12 kills of Esther Johnson.
Sophomore Ese Igehodosa (Kansas City, Mo./ Center Senior HS) led the blue and white with eight kills and a match-high four blocks while junior Ebonie Vincent (Temecula, Calif./ UC-Riverside) added six kills.
Hampton returns to action on Thursday (Oct. 26) when it hosts UMES at 6 p.m.
