Rebecca Glazier were named Hampton University Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
McCain (Norfolk, Va.) caught eight passes for a career-high 143 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-27 overtime win North Carolina Central – marking the first time the Pirates won their Homecoming game since 2006.
Glazier (Newport News, Va.), who was named MEAC Bowler of the Week, averaged 206.4 pins in the season-opening Kutztown Fall Baker Invite – which was tops among individual bowlers. She totaled 1,032 pins in 5-person team play, breaking the 200-pin mark in four of her five matches.
Glazier was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
The football team will be in Savannah, Ga. on Saturday to take on Savannah State at 2 p.m., while the bowling team will return to action Nov. 4-6 in Elmwood Park, N.J. as part of the Fairleigh Dickinson New Jersey Jamboree.
