HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University men's and women's tennis teams, under the direction of Coach John Atiomo, have released their Spring 2013 schedule on Tuesday, a slate that includes four home matches.

The Pirates and Lady Pirates will open the 2013 portion of the schedule on Feb. 1 against Norfolk State in Newport News, Va., before heading to Daytona Beach, Fl. for their first road trip of the season Feb. 15-17. In Daytona, Hampton will face Florida A&M, then take on Bethune-Cookman, Florida Atlantic, Warner University, and close their trip with a match against Webber International University.

On February 24th, the Pirates head back to start their four-game home stand. Facing schools such as, Maryland E. Shore, Niagara University, Delaware State and close it off with Morgan State.
Both teams will take on Coppin State in Baltimore, Md. on March 18, before they head to Loyola on March 19. The Pirates will head down to North Carolina Central on March 23rd. The Pirates and Lady Pirates will then finish up the regular season at George Mason on March 29th and against Howard on March 30th.

The 2013 MEAC Tennis Championships will be held April 19-21 in Raleigh, N.C.
