NORFOLK, Va. – Hampton University had 68 student-athletes named to the 2014 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Commissioner's All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Thursday.
In all, 1,108 student-athletes across the MEAC's 13 institutions were honored.
The Commissioner's All-Academic Team honors student-athletes, including sophomores to seniors, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.
"I am excited to highlight the 1,108 student-athletes who maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during the 2013-14 academic school year," said Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas. "I would like to commend the administrators, athletic academic support staff and personnel, coaches, institutions, and parents for their contributions to the academic success of these student-athletes."
