Box Score Hampton, VA. – Hampton University men's tennis dominated the Yellow Jackets on the road at Randolph-Macon college, cruising to a 7-2 win today.

The Pirates competed well today, securing two consecutive doubles wins and five singles. The Yellow Jackets won the final doubles and singles by forfeit.

"It was a good day for the guys," said head coach
Ana Popovic. "We got a chance to work on certain things that we were looking to improve and also gain confidence for two upcoming conference matches vs. Longwood and North Carolina A & T."

In doubles
Ange-Kevin Koua (Quebec, Canada) and
Donte Armbrister (Nassau, Bahamas) had an 8-0 performance.
Cliff Dwyer (St.Mary, Jamaica) and
Jeremiah Williams (Windsor Mill, MD) followed up, holding the Yellow Jackets scoreless 8-0 at No.2.
HU also handled business across the board in singles, highlighted by Armbrister's 6-0, 6-0 domination at No.3.

At No.1, Koua went 6-0, 6-1. Dwyer followed up at the No.2 singles 6-0, 6-2. Williams claimed the No. 4 6-1, 6-1.
Daud Gantt-Bey (Washington, D.C.) captured the No. 5 singles win 6-0, 6-1.

On Thursday, the pirates return to action at home against Longwood at 1 PM.
