After a big win on the road Monday, the Pirates sprung back in action with a trip to New Jersey.

The Pirates dip to a 1-3 start while the Peacocks improve to a 1-4 record.Â

The Pirates offense had a slow day, while Saint Peters took advantage of shots 19-2, 6-0 shots on goal.Â

Hampton's defense had a long day, and despite the score, the Pirates had a strong showing defensively.Â

As the second half progressed, SPU became more aggressive on the offensive front firing several shots. Their aggressiveness paid off at 76:49 with a center goal to put the Peacocks in the driver's seat with a 1-0 lead.Â
