RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 17, 2024) … This afternoon the Coastal Athletic Association announced the preseason awards for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Hampton's Kyrese Millen was selected to the All-CAA Preseason First Team.

Heading into the 2024-25 campaign Mullen is the lone returning starter for the Pirates. In his sophomore season, his points per game average increased by 6.7.  Mullen averaged 14.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. He led the team in points tallying 400 and grabbed 226 rebounds. The Norfolk Va. native, with 10 double-doubles led the conference and was 58th in the country during the 2023-24 campaign. One of his best games last season came against Charleston on Jan. 25 where he went off for a career-high 32 points. Mullen finished in double figures on 20 separate occasions.
