HAMPTON, Va. (Aug. 21, 2024) … Coach Kelli Marin's cheerleading squad placed second at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Camp in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
 
A total of 20 teams participated in the competition with four teams in Hampton's division. The Hampton squad earned three superior ribbons and a bronze.
 
The team will participate in the NCA College Nationals competition on April 9-13 in Daytona Beach, Fla. Last year, Hampton placed 15th overall in the Intermediate All Girl Division I division at the national competition. A total of 23 teams participated in the division. Hampton placed 13th in the preliminaries.
