Coach Jensen Announces Upcoming 2024 Slate

HAMPTON, Va. (Aug. 5, 2024) … Coach Jodi Jensen has unveiled the upcoming 2024 triathlon schedule. The program had many firsts last season. Most notably, the Lady Pirates qualified for the Collegiate National Championships. Over 60 percent of the roster returns for the campaign that will begin on August 30 at the ETSU Run & Swim.
Hampton begins the month of September on the eighth at the Patriot's Triathlon in Williamsburg, Va. for the second consecutive season. The following weekend Coach Jensen's squad will compete at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon (Sept. 15). HU's final event before regionals will be the Robious Landing Tri, Collegiate Cup in Richmond, Va. on Sept. 29.Â
The Lady Pirates will then travel to Charlotte, N.C. for the NCAA Eastern Regionals (Oct. 12). With a good showing at the Eastern Regionals, the 2024 season comes to an end at the NCAA Nationals on Nov. 9. This year's nationals will be hosted in Belmont, Fla.
