HAMPTON, Va. (Sept. 27, 2024) … The Lady Pirates are set to compete this Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Robious Tri Collegiate Cup in Midlothian, Va. In the program's short history, Hampton has never competed at the Robious Tri Collegiate Cup.
In their last time out, Coach Dr. Jodi Jensen's side competed at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon. Junior Niya Buckner led the Lady Pirates placing 57th. The Houston, Texas native, finished the event with a time of 1:31:25. Buckner has been the Lady Pirates' top finisher at all three races this season. Michelle Morgan has the second-best finish on the team at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon with a time of 1:48:08.
Sunday's race is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
