Hampton Sailing Continues Spring Season at Hanbury Trophy

HAMPTON, Va. (March 21, 2025) … Coach Alessandro Ambrosi's squad resumes the spring portion of the 2025 Schedule at the Hanbury Trophy. Spectators can view this weekend's regatta at the Youth Sailing Virginia in Hampton, Va.

The Pirates had a strong start to their spring campaign making program history at the Tom Noble Race hosted by Washington College. Three weeks ago Hampton won its first-ever team race with an impressive 7-0 record. The Tom Noble regatta also marked the first time HU had gone undefeated at a team race.

Traveling for the Pirates this weekend are Chloe Anderson, Kiara Lee Wright, Stefano Palamara, Tommaso Ciagla, Jackson Manley, and Tyler Brown. This weekend's field consists of Christopher Newport, Fordham, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, Princeton, St. Mary's (MD), South Florida, Virginia, and Washington College.
