HAMPTON, Va. (Sept. 6, 2025) … The Hampton University women's triathlon team is set to compete in their second meet of the year in the Patriots Triathlon at Jamestown Event Beach Park in Jamestown, Va.

The Pirates are back in action following their season opener at the California Triathlon at Fry's Spring Beach Club, where three Pirates placed in the top nine. Niya Buckner led the way for Hampton, as she finished the event with a time of 1:51.56. Dymonasia Williams placed sixth in the meet at 1:52.35, while Michelle Morgan added a ninth place finish with a time of 2:07.04.

The Triathlon will consist of 1,500 meter pool swim, 24.85 mile bike ride, and 6.2 mile run.
