JAMESTOWN, Va. (Sept. 8, 2025) … The Pirates returned to action Sunday morning in the Patriots Triathlon in Jamestown.

The triathlon consisted of 1,500 meter pool swim, 24.85 mile bike ride, and 6.2 mile run. 

Niya Buckner paced the Pirates with a time of 1:39:58. Buckner covered the swim in 15:16, the bike ride in 47:26 and the run in 31:21. 

Dymonasia Williams finished next for the Pirates with a total time of 1:45:47. She finished her swim in 17:22, the bike in 49:45 and run in 33:27. 

Michele Morgan rounded out the Pirates with a time of 1:54:52. Morgan had times of 15:42 in swim, 51:33 in bike and 42:17 in her run. 

Hampton returns to action Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon in Davidson, N.C.
