NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 14, 2026) … The Hampton University women's tennis team opened its 2026 Spring season on Saturday dropping a 4-0 decision to Ole Miss in a match at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center on the campus of Old Dominion.

The doubles point went to the Rebels winning at lines two and three by 6-1 scores.

In singles, Hampton was even in the second set of two of the three matches with Samira Khazieva 4-6, 1-1 at line five and Melis Sakiroglu 3-6, 2-2 at line six.

Hampton is back in action on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. taking on Norfolk State.
