HAMPTON, Va. (Mar. 17, 2026) … Senior's Xzavier Long and Josh Ogundele have been named to the HBCU All-Star game to be played in Indianapolis Apr. 5.
The game consists of 24 players, as Ogundele has been selected to team Sam Jones, while Long will play for team Bob Dandridge. The two seniors will compete for the final time inside of Corteva Coliseum at 1 p.m.
Long finished his two years at Hampton ranking inside the top 10 in multiple categories in the schools history including, rebounding average in a season at 7.6 (2nd), defensive rebounding average at 5.1 (3rd), offensive rebounding average at 2.5 (3rd), rebounds in a season 287 (3rd), and rebounding average 9.6 (2nd). The senior from Washington, D.C. played in 55 games over the course of his two years, while starting 51. He averaged 9.8 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game this season.
Ogundele played in 27 games in his lone season at Hampton, starting 21. He finished the season with a .551 field goal percentage, while also posting a .400 three point percentage. Ogundele averaged 6.7 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures eight times, scoring a career high 21 points at William & Mary.
