CAA Announces Men's Basketball Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. (July 16, 2026) … The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) league office announced the men's basketball 2026-27 conference schedule Thursday morning. Hampton is set to play host to nine homes games inside of the Convocation center, while playing nine road games to round out a 18 game league schedule. 

Hampton rings in the new year when they open up CAA play playing host to Drexel (Saturday, January 2nd). The Pirates will then start a three game road swing with a northeast trip to Monmouth (Thursday, Jan. 7th) and Northeastern (Saturday, Jan. 9th) before returning to Virginia to take on local rival William & Mary (Thursday, Jan. 14th).

After hosting last year's champion Hofstra (Saturday, Jan. 16th), the Pirates will travel to Greensboro, N.C. to take on rival North Carolina A&T as part of a six-game feature on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, Jan. 18th). The following weekend, Hampton hosts Elon (Thursday, Jan. 21) and Campbell (Saturday, Jan. 23) inside of the Convocation Center. 

The Pirates close out the month of January with a weekend road trip starting at Stony Brook (Thursday, Jan. 28) before traveling down the coast to Towson, Md. to take on the Towson Tigers (Saturday, Jan. 30). The first week of February starts with Hampton playing the conference's co-regular season champions when they host Charleston (Thursday, Feb. 4) before traveling to Trask Coliseum to play UNCW (Saturday, Feb. 6th). 

Hampton has a bye (Thursday, Feb. 11th) before traveling to Elon, N.C. to take on the Phoenix of Elon (Saturday, Feb. 13th). The Pirates then close out their conference schedule with four of their final five contests at home. They will host North Carolina A&T (Thursday, Feb. 18) and Monmouth (Saturday, Feb. 20) in the second to last weekend before heading to Charleston (Thursday, Feb. 25th). Hampton then returns home to play host to Towson (Saturday, Feb. 27th) and William & Mary (Tuesday, Mar. 2) to round out their regular season. 

CAA matchups will be available on FloHoops, CBS Sports Network and local television partners throughout the league's footprint. In addition, the semifinals and final of the 2027 CAA Men's Basketball Championship at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C., will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

Game times and potential local television broadcasts are to be announced by member institutions National telecasts on CBS Sports Network will be announced at a later date.
