2010 OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
Named USTFCCCA All-American in 100-meter dash… finished seventh in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA Championships with a 10.39… First Team All-MEAC in the 4x100-meter relay… helped the 4x100-meter relay team win the MEAC title with a conference-record 39.71… finished eighth in the 100-meter dash at the Alabama Relays with a 10.65… ran a 10.65 in the 100-meter dash at the Florida Relays to finish 27th… finished third in the 200-meter dash at the Murray Neely Invitational with a 21.38… ran a 10.61 in the 100-meter dash at the MEAC Championships to finish sixth… came in 10th in the preliminaries of the 200-meter dash with a 21.21… finished fifth in the 100-meter dash at the IC4A Championships with a 10.58… set a school record with a 10.18 in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA East Regional, finishing 10th to advance to nationals.

2009-10 INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
Opened his season with a 7.04 in the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash at the Penn State National, finishing 30th… ran a 6.99 in the 60-meter dash at the New Balance Collegiate, finishing 37th in the preliminaries... ran a 7.12 in the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash at the MEAC Championships, coming in 25th.

2009 OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
First Team All-MEAC in the 200-meter dash… Second Team All-MEAC in the 100-meter dash and 4x100-meter relay… ran a 10.51 to win the 100-meter dash at the Alabama Relays… MEAC Athlete of the Week for April 1… won the 200-meter dash at the Hampton Relays with a 20.84… ran a 10.35 to win the 100-meter dash at the Morgan State Legacy Meet… helped the 4x200-meter relay team win the IC4A final at the Penn Relays with a 1:23.55… won the 200-meter dash at the MEAC Championships with a 20.71, while also coming in second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.31… helped the 4x100-meter relay team finish second in 40.01… won the IC4A 100-meter dash title, running a 10.44… finished third in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA East Regional with a season-best 10.21… finished eighth in the 100-meter dash at the 2009 NCAA Championships, running a 10.38… also ran in the 200-meter dash, running a 21.77 in the preliminary heats to come in 21st.

2008-09 INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
First Team All-MEAC in the 60-meter dash… Second Team All-MEAC in the 200-meter dash… ran a 6.30 in the 55-meter dash at the Christopher Newport Holiday Open to finish second… took the 60-meter dash at the UMES Lid-Lifter, running a 6.80… ran a 6.79 in the 60-meter dash, the best time at the Penn State Open… provisionally qualified for NCAAs in the 200-meter dash at the Penn State Open, running a season-best 21.18… finished third in the 60-meter dash at the Hampton University Invitational, running a 6.79… his 6.67 in the 60-meter dash at the Penn State National Open was good enough for provisional NCAA qualification… provisionally qualified again in the 60-meter dash by running a 6.73 in the Armory New Balance Collegiate Invitational… 6.71 in the 60-meter dash at the MEAC Championships was a provisional NCAA qualifier and a meet record.

PLAINFIELD HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated in three years… started on both the football team and the track &field squad at Plainfield… caught for 240 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman… had 14 touchdowns his sophomore year, rushing for 876 yards and pulling down 616 more yards from the air… second team All-State as a sophomore… caught for 574 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior… named first team All-State as a senior in both football and track… earned first team All-State honors as a freshman in the 55-meter dash.

PERSONAL
Born June 7, 1988… son of Sharon Dixon and Craig Venson… the oldest of five children… also plays on the Hampton University football team… hopes to be a kick returner in the NFL after being selected in the first round of the draft.
