2018-19-SENIOR SEASON 
Played in 35 games for the Pirates, making 34 starts… averaged 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 Blocked shots a game…scored in double figures 11 times… scored career high 22 points, shooting  and earn MVP honors of the John McLendon Classic against St. Francis (NY) on March 21…recorded a double double shooting 87% (7-of-8) from the floor and 75% (3-of-4) from deep, finished with 18 points 10 rebounds and three blocks at Longwood Jan 30… on Jan 10 against Charleston Southern he finished with 21 points, four rebounds and four blocks shooting 80% (8-of-10) and 75% (3-of-4) from the arc…Barnes finished ninth in rebounds and first in blocks in the Big South Conference…he led the Pirates in rebounds with 205, in blocks with 59 and landed 4^th in scoring…recorded game high of four blocks four different times this season.


2017-18 – JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in 34 games, making 33 starts as a junior…averaged 7.1 points per game to go with 4.2 rebounds per contest…tallied two double-doubles on the season…registered 13 points and 10 rebounds against Coastal Carolina on December 6…posted 11 points and 10 boards at Texas-Rio Grande Valley on December 30…season-best of 17 points at Howard University on February 8…had a season best of 13 rebounds at Notre Dame in the first round of the NIT on November 13.

2016-17 – SOPHOMORE SEASON
Averaged 6.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game...started in 30 of 31 games...hauled in 10 rebounds against South Carolina State...scored in double figures in seven games topped by 18 against Winthrop and Coker...hit 54.4% from the floor (74-of-136) and 69.4% from foul line (50-of-72)...can step outside for the 3-point shot as he was 14-of-29 from behind the arc (48.3%)...was 4-of-4 against Winthrop from 3-point range.

2015-16 – FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 14 games in a reserve role…averaged 1.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game…scored a season-high six points at William & Mary on Nov. 25 on 3-for-4 shooting…was 8-for-17 from the floor on the season…played a season-high 17 minutes at William & Mary…grabbed a season-high four rebounds against Appalachian State on Nov. 20…blocked two shots at William & Mary on Nov .25…had two steals against Savannah State on Jan. 23.
 
LAFAYETTE HIGH SCHOOL
Played JV basketball as a freshman before moving to the varsity squad as a sophomore…averaged eight points and five rebounds as a sophomore…upped those averages to 12 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks per game as a sophomore…was named All-Region and Championships MVP as a senior…was also All-State and Team MVP…averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks a game that season…played football as a sophomore and senior…was on the baseball team as a freshman.

Born July 20, 1997…son of Shirley and Charlie Barnes…has two sisters, Alicia and Tabitha, and one brother, Charlie…nicknamed Tre…was featured in the LaFayette Sun…majoring in finance…wants to pursue a Master’s in sports management and become an athletic director.
