2019-20 SEASON
Played in and started all 28 games as a senior…Averaged 24.8 points to rank third in NCAA Division I scoring and 6.5 assists per game to rank 11th in NCAA Division I…Missed six games with thumb injury and returned with 14 points and career-high 14 assists against Charleston Southern on January 4…Scored 30+ points in 10 games…Set Big South Semifinal record with 36 points and 10 assists at Radford on March 6…Had three games of double figure assists….11 games of 10+ free throw attempts…including 21 against Gardner-Webb on February 20 and 20 against Presbyterian on February 1…Became the Hampton University All-Time scoring leader against Presbyterian on February 1 and the Virginia Division I All-Time scoring leader against Radford on February 27. 2019-20 First Team All-Big South…2020 Big South All-Tournament team…2019-20 VaSID All-State First Team…2019-20 BoxToRow Player of the Year.
2018-19- JUNIOR SEASON
Played in 35 games for the Pirates, making 34 starts…averaged 24.4 points and 4.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.6 steals a game… scored in double figures 34 times… scored a career-high 40 points, and added seven rebounds, six assists and five steals against High Point University on Feb. 16…recorded a double-double against UNC Asheville on Jan. 12 with 16 points and dished out a season high of ten assists…went (12-of-21) 57% from the floor and (7-of-11) 63% from the arc to post 35 points, three rebounds, six assists, and two steals against Charleston Southern Jan. 10…dropped 31 points, eight rebounds and three steals against William & Mary on Dec. 8…shooting (12-of-19) 63% from the floor and (5-of-8) 62% from deep, and (9-of-9) from the charity stripe, Marrow recorded 38 points, four rebounds, six assists at Richmond Nov. 25…finished 2nd in scoring (854), 3rd in assists (171), steals (56), and three-point field goal percentage (37%) and fourth in three pointers made (88)…Marrow led the Pirates in scoring, field goals made, three pointers made, free throws made, assists and second in steals…He has already rewritten the Pirates record books as he finished first in both single season free throws attempted (269) and free throws made (218)…finished eighth in scoring (24.4 ppg) in NCAA Division I Men's Basketball for the 2018-19 season… finished one point shy of the Pirates single season record of 855 held by Rick Mahorn, his 854 points was the most in a NCAA Division I-era season for Hampton University…He also finished with the fourth highest single season points total in Big South Conference history along with the seventh highest single season scoring average in Big South Conference history (24.4ppg). As he heads into his senior season with 1,987 points, Marrow is within range of Rick Mahorn's school record of 2,418 career points…Marrow is on pace to become the 16th player in Big South Conference history to score 1,000 points in his first two years in the league… Marrow was named to the Big South First Team All-Conference, First Team All-ECAC, First Team NABC All-District…BOXTOROW HBCU National Player of the Year, BOXTOROW – First Team All-American, VaSID Second Team All-State...he was Big South Conference Player of the Week Jan 14. for his performance against Charleston Southern University Jan 10.
2017-18 – SOPHOMORE SEASON
Appeared in 34 games as a sophomore, making 33 starts…led the team with 19.1 points per game…tallied 31 points at South Carolina State on January 22…scored at least 20 points in 16 games and in double-figures in all but four contests…posted 18 points and 10 assists against Coastal Carolina on December 6…registered 15 points and 10 rebounds against Florida A&M in the MEAC Tournament on March 7.
2016-17 – FRESHMAN SEASON
An impressive freshman season where he was named to the MEAC All-Rookie team...scored over 20 points in 10 games including a stretch of five straight in early February...recorded a double-double of 23 points and season-high 10 assists against Howard on 2/6/17...had seven games of five or more assists...hit 10 field goals twice against William & Mary and Florida A&M...three steals vs. Coastal Carolina...was 11-of-12 from foul line against Howard.
HERITAGE HIGH SCHOOL
Played basketball all four years…averaged 10 points and two assists as a freshman…averaged 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists as a sophomore…averaged 25 points and nine assists per game in his junior season…was named 4A East State Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 31 points, seven assists, and six rebounds per game.
