Biography

2018 - SENIOR SEASON
Saw action in 101 sets as middle blocker for the Lady Pirates…led the team with 78 blocks… she finished second on the team with 216 kills…finished sixth in hitting % in the Big South Conference…posted at least 10 kills in 10 matches…finished second on the team in points with 269.

2017 – JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in 93 sets as a middle blocker…fourth on the team with 160 kills…posted 15 kills on a .542 hitting percentage at Delaware State on October 6…led the team with a .255 hitting percentage…served four aces at George Mason on September 16…had six kills, four digs, and nine blocks against Winthrop on September 8.

2016 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Saw action in 20 matches in 2016…recorded 91 kills to rank fourth on the team…had season-high nine in home win over Coppin State…season-best nine blocks against Norfolk State and eight against Temple.

2015 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 84 sets for the Lady Pirates, seeing action in all 25 matches and making 23 starts… fifth on the team in kills, averaging 1.10 per set and racking up 92 for the season… had a season-high 10 kills at Norfolk State on Oct. 16… hit a season-best .833 against Norfolk State on Nov. 8, with five kills and no errors in six attacks… led the team and ranked third in the MEAC in blocks, racking up 85 total and averaging 1.01 per set… had a season-high nine blocks against Howard on Nov. 1… added eight blocks at UMES on Oct. 17… had at least four blocks in a match 12 times… had a season-high six digs at N.C. State on Sept. 19… had her lone ace of the season against Tennessee on Sept. 18.
 
MEADE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Was on the JV volleyball team as a freshman before moving up to the varsity squad as a sophomore… won the national championship with the Metro American Volleyball Club in the spring of 2015.
 
PERSONAL
Born Feb. 13, 1997… daughter of LaRhonda and Carl Nicholas… has three siblings: Janelle (33), Angela (32), and Donovan (13)… both parents, one of her sisters, and a great uncle are all Hampton University graduates… nicknamed Kyn… majoring in biochemistry with a minor in psychology… wants to become a neuroscientist.
