• “THE ZONE” PIRATE TAILGATE PARTY- 2 HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF Come Party with the Pirates! Enjoy Pre-Game tailgating with family, friends, or co-workers in “The Zone” w/ great food, music, live Radio Broadcasts, vendors, and True Blue Fun! No associated fees. General tailgating locales are first come first serve.
• “PIRATES KIDS’ COVE”- 2 HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF Located on the practice field behind Armstrong Stadium the Pirates Kids’ Cove will allow the Young Pirate Fans to enjoy inflatable rides, temporary Pirate Tattoos, face painting, and much more for FREE!! (Activities vary each home game)
• THE HU MARCHING FORCE (PRE-GAME)- 1 HOUR BEFORE KICKOFF Watch the Marching FORCE take to Armstrong Field as they parade down Marshall Avenue beginning at the University’s Convocation Center. They will take the field to bring you a dazzling Pre-Game show and National Anthem.
In-Game Activities:
• THE HALFTIME SHOW FEATURING THE HAMPTON UNIVERSITY MARCHING FORCE AND THE BCC MARCHING WILDCATS
• TURN IT BLUE PEPSI PIRATE TREASURE CHEST GIVEAWAY- One lucky fan will be selected at halftime to select a prize out of the PIRATES’ Treasure. Choose from I-Pods, Portable DVD Players, Digital Cameras, and much more… So, wear your Hampton BLUE and show that PIRATE PRIDE, and maybe you will win!
• GET INTO THE BLUE ROWDIEST SECTION OF THE GAME- Do you have on your Hampton Blue? Are you cheering the PIRATES to another VICTORY? At the close of the 3rd Quarter we will be searching for the Rowdiest PIRATE fans at the game to receive free pizza courtesy of Papa John’s. Let’s Make Some Noise PIRATE Fans!
Post-Game Activities:
• KIDS “CATCH AND RUN”- IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE GAME Little Pirate Fans can experience what it is like to be a Pirate Football Star! Catch a pass and run it in for a 20 yard touch down, and be sure to give us your best touchdown dance when you do!
• “THE 5TH QUARTER”- IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE GAME Watch the HU Bands battle it out in their post-game Battle of the Bands!

• SILVER PIRATES DAY- It is Seniors Day with the Pirates and you are invited to join us for the Home Game Closer! Group tickets will be only sold in advance. Individual tickets will be sold at the group rate game day only.
• “TURN IT BLUE”- Wear your Blue HAMPTON Paraphernalia and receive a $6 discount on General Admissions tickets at the door. (Discount cannot be used with any other promotion.)
• EDUCATOR’S DAY- Your Hampton University Pirates welcome Hampton Roads educators to join us for a day at the game. We will be honoring Hampton Roads Educators for their service and commitment to excellence.
• THE SCHOOLS OF BUSINESS AND JOURNALISM AND COMMUNICATION EVENING OUT- HU faculty and students in the Schools of Business and Journalism are cordially invited to join us at our final home game of the season.
