MEN PARTICIPATE IN CNU INVITATIONAL ON SATURDAY

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Hampton University men's cross country team competed at the CNU Invitational on Saturday, collecting some key race action in advance of the Big South conference meet.
Geoffrey McCullough paced the HU runners with a 14th place finish in the 34-runner field, breaking the tape with a time of 29:11 on the 8K course. Coby Price was the next Pirate to reach the finish, registering a time of 30:38 to for 22nd place. Tayvon Burris was two spots behind him with a time of 30:52.
Hampton travels to the Pirate Invitational, hosted by East Carolina University, on Friday, October 12.
