LADY PIRATES RUN IN CNU INVITE

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Lady Pirate cross country team ran at the CNU Invite on Saturday.
Asia Johnson paced the 45-runner field with a 16th place finish and a time of 25:06 in the 6K run. Zuri Rashad was right behind her with a time of 25:31 to finish 19th. Shakeria Johnson was the next HU runner with a time of 26:17, followed by DeVonya Brown's time of 26:34.
Hampton travels to the Pirate Invitational, hosted by East Carolina University, on Friday, October 12.
