HAMPTON, Va. – Six different Pirates scored a goal each on Friday as the Hampton men's lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 decision to the University of the District of Columbia at Armstrong Stadium.
Derian Williams-Sturdivant and Pierce Johnson tallied one goal and two assists apiece, while Kier Johnson, Lamont Lewis, Elliott Johnson and Preston Randolph added one goal each.
???????Williams-Sturdivant got the first goal for Hampton to close the scoring in the first period. Elliott Johnson and Kier Johnson tallied goals in a two minute span of the third. In the fourth, Pierce Johnson scored at the 14:14 mark, Randolph tallied off a Williams-Sturdivant feed at 10:37 and Lewis put one in also from Williams-Sturdivant at 6:09.
Hampton (0-2) is now off until March 4 when they visit Greensboro College.
