CLEVELAND, Oh. -- Pierce Johnson and Carter Boone scored twice, while Lamont Lewis and Elliott Johnson added one goal for Hampton as they fell 19-6 at Cleveland State University in men's lacrosse action on Saturday.

Cleveland State would jump out to a 3-0 lead before the Pirates were able to find their first goal as it would come from Elliott Johnson with an assist from Jonathan Napier with 8:46 left in the first quarter. Lamont Lewis added a goal with 18 seconds left to close the first quarter making the score 5-2. Carter Boone would score the next two goals for the Pirates with his second at 4:10 remaining in the third quarter making it 14-4. Pierce Johnson chipped in back to back goals in the fourth quarter making it 15-6 with 10:52 left.

The Pirates are back on the field Tuesday at 4pm to face Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, WV.
