Box Score HAMPTON, VA- First half ails the Pirates in 3-0 loss at Mount St. Marys today.

The Pirates fall to a 1-5 start while the Mount improves to a 1-1-3 record.

Hampton was held to five shots, two on goal, while Mt. Saint Mary's totaled 12 shots, three on goal.

Mount Saint Mary's scored all three goals in the first twenty-eight minutes of the game. A free kick at the 5:45 mark put The Mount on the board early. Then, at the 19:20 and 28:00 marks, The Mount scored a pair of middle goals to secure a 3-0 lead.

Foul trouble also ailed the Pirates; Hampton had 18 fouls to Mount Saint Marys 12.

Hampton ended the game with no saves. Despite the rough night, the Pirates will regroup and prepare for a quick turnaround as non-conference play continues on Tuesday at SCSU.
