Lady Pirates Prepare for NCAA Eastern Regionals

HAMPTON, Va. (Oct. 9, 2024) … Hampton University women's triathlon team is set to begin their championship season this weekend at the NCAA Eastern Regionals. This Saturday's race is held in Raleigh, N.C. at the Sandling Beach Recreation Area with the event set to start at 10:00 a.m.
In their last time out Coach Dr. Jodi Jensen's side competed at the Robious Landing Tri Collegiate Cup. Angel Moultrie had the best finish of the day for the Lady Pirates placing 52nd with a time of 1:13:42.The Honolulu, Hawaii native, had one of her best finishes of the season at the Robious Landing Tri Collegiate Cup.
With a good result this weekend, the Lady Pirates will be competing at the NCAA National Championship for the second consecutive season. Both Jordyn Bryant and Niya Buckner competed at last season's national championship.
