Hampton Triathlon Set to End 2024 Season at NCAA National Championship

HAMPTON, Va. (Nov. 8, 2024) … Hampton University women's triathlon team is set to wrap up the 2024 season at the NCAA National Championship. This Saturday's race is held in Clearmont, Fla. with the event set to start at 10:00 a.m.

In its last time out Coach Dr. Jodi Jensen's side competed at the NCAA Eastern Regionals. The field consisted of 67 student-athletes from nine different institutions. Jordyn Bryant led the Lady Pirates' with a time of 1:25:24. The Los Angeles, Calif. native, placed 59th.

For the second time in program history, Hampton will be competing at the NCAA National Championship. Both Bryant and Niya Buckner competed at last year's event.
