Lady Pirates Wrap-Up Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon

DAVIDSON, N.C. (Sept. 15, 2024) … The Lady Pirates were back in action competing at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon. The field consisted of 67 student-athletes from 10 different institutions.

Junior Niya Buckner led coach Jodi Jensen's Lady Pirates placing 57th. Buckner, a native of Houston, Texas, finished the event with a time of 1:31:25. Michelle Morgan had the second-best finish on the team with a time of 1:48:08. Dymonasia Williams wrapped up the list of competitors for the Lady Pirates. The Sophomore placed 64th with a time of 1:54:00.

Hampton returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Robious Landing Tri Collegiate Cup. The race is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
