MIDLOTHIAN, Va. (Sept. 29, 2024) … The Lady Pirates were back in action this morning at the Robious Landing Tri Collegiate Cup. With the rainfall from Helene the event's format would have to be changed to exclude the swim portion of the event. The field consisted of 79 student-athletes from 15 different institutions.
Angel Moultrie had the best finish of the day for the Lady Pirates. Moultrie placed 52nd with a time of 1:13:42. The Honolulu, Hawaii, native had one of her best finishes of the season. Niya Buckner with a time of 1:23:22 had Hampton's second-best finish. The junior placed 63rd in the highly competitive field. Dymonaisa Williams and Michelle Morgan wrapped up the list of competitors for the Lady Pirates.
Hampton University women's triathlon returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the NCAA Eastern Regionals.
