Indoor Track and Field Teams Hit Boston and Virginia Beach For Weekend Meets

HAMPTON, Va. (Feb. 13, 2025) … The Hampton University men's and women's indoor track and field teams are on a busy weekend as they head to a pair of meets in Boston and in Virginia Beach.

A handful of athletes are heading to Boston to compete in a regionally strong David Hemery Valentines Invitational hosted by Boston University. This event will be streamed on FloTrack.

The majority of the team will be running at the Virginia Beach Sports Center at the Pre-Nationals Invitational hosted by Norfolk State. A lot of top runners from across the country will be at this meet as the Virginia Beach Sports Center will host the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships in mid-March.

Coming off of last weekend's performance at the Penn Classic, three Pirates cracked into the top five in the CAA
