HAMPTON, Va. (March 10, 2025) … The Hampton men's lacrosse team heads to the Blue Grass State for a Tuesday afternoon matchup against Bellarmine at noon at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.
LAST MEETING
Bellarmine visited Hampton on February 27, 2024 and took a 23-7 victory.
Darius Stanley scored the first three goals for Hampton, all in the opening period, while
Xavier Salley,
Miles Fawcett,
Mamadou Meite and
Canyon Steverson added a goal each.
ABOUT HAMPTON
This game is the lone road contest in a five-game stretch for the Pirates. They hosted Mercyhurst and Detroit Mercy last week and will follow this contest with their Coastal Athletic Association opener against 17
th-ranked Fairfield on Saturday and then Queens (N.C.) on March 18.
Sebastian West leads the team with three goals and seven assists for 10 points.
AJ Knox leads the team in goals scored with eight, while Stanley has four goals and four assists for eight points.
Knox scored four of his team-best eight goals in the loss to Iona on February 9.
ABOUT BELLARMINE
The Knights come into the contest after a 13-10 win over Robert Morris on Saturday. Ezra Moore had two goals and three assists, while Michael Blaymires had three goals.
John Allie leads Bellarmine through nine games with 28 goals and 15 assists for 43 points. Moore is next with 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points and Joe Allie adds 17 goals and three assists for 20 points.
This is the fourth meeting all-time between the schools with Bellarmine winning the previous three.
