HAMPTON, Va. (March 6, 2025) … The Hampton University men's lacrosse team returns to the home field of Armstrong Stadium on Friday afternoon for a 5 p.m. matchup against the Titans of Detroit Mercy. This will be the first meeting between the schools.
Hampton (0-5) comes in after a 22-6 loss to Jacksonville on Sunday evening.
Jonathan Angel and Sebastien West had two goals apiece to lead the Pirates.
Detroit Mercy (0-3) dropped a 16-4 decision to Bellarmine on February 22. Aidan Bishop scored two of the four goals to lead the Titans.
ABOUT HAMPTON
AJ Knox leads the team in goals scored (8) and shares the lead in points (8).
Darius Stanley has four goals and four assists for eight points, while West has two goals and six assists for eight points.
Hampton has had 10 players find the back of the net in five games and 11 players to register a point.

ABOUT DETROIT MERCY
The Titans head south having scored 14 goals in their three matches to date. Aidan Bishop, Zach Gleason, Caden Loken and Marcus Thundercloud have two goals apiece for Detroit.
Bishop leads in points with three, as Nolan Graalman, Zach Snuder and Chase Mahabir join Gleason, Loken and Thundercloud with two points each.
In goal, Ryan Richters leads the team starting all three matches with a save percentage of .477 and averaging 14 saves per game.
