HAMPTON, Va. (April 18, 2025) … On Saturday morning at 11 a.m., the Hampton University men's lacrosse team will celebrate Senior Day by hosting Hofstra in a Coastal Athletic Association matchup inside Armstrong Stadium.
A pre-game ceremony to honor the seniors will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Hampton fell at league-leading Towson 25-3 on April 12 as
Sebastian West had a goal and an assist, while
Jadon Meyers and
Reed Shaw each had a goal. Hofstra dropped a 9-6 decision on Tuesday night at Yale as Anthony Mollica had two goals and an assist, while Shea Kennedy had 16 saves for the Pride.
LAST TIME VS. HOFSTRA
Hofstra took a 21-5 win over Hampton on April 20, 2024 in Hempstead, N.Y.
Andre Myers had three goals for Hampton with
David Jackson and
Mamadou Meite adding one apiece. Gerard Kane paced Hofstra with four goals.

- AJ Knox and Reed Shaw share the team lead in goals scored with 10 and are both tied for second with 12 points.
- Canyon Steverson is third in goals scored with seven, followed by Sebastian West and Jonathan Angel with six each.

- In goal, Ben Kieu is 10th nationally in saves per game averaging 13 per contest, while as a team Hampton leads the country averaging 18 per game.

- West is fifth in single season assists with 11 and is two away from Ellison Burt-Murray who had 13 in 2023. He is also tied for 10th in single season points with 17 and one away from teammate Darius Stanley's 18 in 2023.
- Kieu is second in single season saves with 169 and is eight away from tying the mark of 177 by Paxtin Powell in 2022.
ABOUT HOFSTRA
Drew Bogardus leads the Pride in goals with 27 followed by John Madsen (25), Trevor Natalie (22), Rory Jones and Mollica (20). In league play, Madsen leads with 10 goals.
Mollica and Trey Parkes share the team lead in assists with 18, with Natalie following having 11. He also leads in points (38), followed by Natalie and Bogardus (33) and Parkes (32).
Kennedy has been the main goalie for Hofstra and sports a .529 save percentage and a 6-5 record.
