HAMPTON, Va. (Sept. 16, 2025) … Hampton University has released its complete 2025-26 women's basketball schedule on Tuesday.
Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play begins on Jan. 2 when the Pirates hosts Stony Brook at the Convocation Center. The first conference road contest comes two days later on Jan. 4 when Coach
Tamisha Augustin's team travels to North Carolina to take on Elon.
The 18-game league schedule includes nine home dates and nine games on the road. In addition to the date with Stony Brook, the home portion of the slate includes Charleston (Jan. 11), Campbell (Jan. 23), Elon (Jan. 25), North Carolina A&T (Feb. 1), Towson (Feb. 13), Drexel (Feb. 20), Monmouth (Feb. 22) and the final regular-season game on March 7 versus William & Mary.
After the game at Elon, the road contests are against William & Mary (Jan. 16), North Carolina A&T (Jan. 18), UNCW (Jan. 30), Drexel (Feb. 6), Hofstra (Ferb. 8), Stony Brook (Feb. 27), Northeastern March 1) and Campbell March 5).
Prior to the start of league play, the Pirates will open the 2025-26 campaign against local rival Apprentice School on Nov. 5 at the Convocation Center. After trips to North Carolina to take on Wake Forest (Nov. 9) and Gardner-Webb (Nov. 16), the Pirates battle longtime rival Norfolk State in Norfolk on Nov. 21. The Lady Spartans were 30-5 a year ago, winning the MEAC championship and earning an NCAA Tournament berth.
Hampton hosts Delaware State (Nov. 24) before taking on formidable opponents Stephen F. Austin (Nov. 27) and Buffalo (Nov. 29) in the Puerto Rico Classic. Stephen F. Austin won the Southland Conference crown and played in the NCAA Tournament last year finishing with a 29-6 mark while Buffalo was 30-7 a year ago and won the WNIT.
Coach Augustin's young troops play in the HBCU Hoops Invitational at Disneyworld in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 5-7. They'll open the event against Cheyney on Dec. 5, then take on either Bethune-Cookman or Edward Waters in game two.
The Battle of the Real HU will be played in Washington, D.C. when the Pirates face off with Howard at the CareFirst Arena on Dec. 13. Howard played in the WNIT last year and finished with a 22-12 record. Hampton hosts state rival Radford on Dec. 18 before finishing the non-league schedule at Eastern Kentucky on Dec. 29.
