VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Mar. 17, 2026) … Hampton's men's tennis team earned their second win of the season over Frostburg State Tues. afternoon at Virginia Wesleyan 6-1. 

The Pirates jumped out to an early lead, when the duo's of Rafael Padilha and Aryan Arora earned a win at the one spot of doubles 7-5, followed by a 7-5 win in the two spot by Benedict Badza and Kohei Konishi to earn the doubles point. 

In singles it was Badza getting Hampton the first point in the three spot with a decisive 6-2, 6-1 win. Arora ( 6-1, 6-4) and Padhila (7-5, 6-2) then each earned wins in straight sets to give Hampton a commanding 3-0 lead. Konishi defeated his opponent in the two spot 6-3, 2-6, ret. to give Hampton the win. Mwanza earned another win for the Pirates in the six spot with a 6-3, 6-2 win.
