CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Mar. 21, 2026) … Queens jumped out to a 7-0 first quarter lead and rode that start to a 21-7 win over Hampton in men's lacrosse on Saturday.

Hampton got on the board in the second quarter when Anthony Bardonille Jr. scored his first of three on the afternoon at the 10:44 mark. 

Out of the break, Hampton continued to battle, scoring three goals in the frame, as three different Pirates scored. It started with a Bardonille Jr. goal, followed by James Green and just two minutes later, Howard Casterlow capped the scoring with his first of the afternoon.  

The Pirates scored three more in the fourth quarter as Reed Shaw scored his two goals in the final frame, while Bardonille Jr. capped his hat trick in the frame, but ultimately it was Queens holding strong and earning a 21-7 win. 

Hampton has now scored seven goals or more in seven of the eight games this season after only accomplishing that feat twice a season ago.
