HAMPTON, Va. (May 11, 2026) … Hampton University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Anthony D. Henderson, Jr. and head women's basketball coach Tamisha Augustin will have a busy week ahead of them being involved in the 2026 NBA Combine in Chicago from May 10-17.

Henderson will be meeting with front office staff and General Managers regarding roster construction, player compensation and other pertinent items to aid through this new era of college athletics with NIL and revenue sharing.

Every year, the NBA invites a mix of collegiate and professional basketball coaches who have built a reputation for strong player development and for teaching pro-level concepts with clarity and efficiency.

Part of Augustin's role will include working stations and assisting with individual workouts. The combine will take place at the Marriott Marquis and Wintrust Arena with over 70 prospects from the eligible draft class.

Augustin has seen her Pirates win total increase in her first two seasons both overall and in league play.  She has NBA G League coaching experience, serving as an assistant coach with the Grand Rapids Gold in 2021-22.
