HAMPTON, Va. (July 16, 2026) … The Coastal Athletic Association announced its 2026-27 CAA Women's Basketball slate of conference games on Thursday morning with Hampton opening up on New Year's Day at a historical rival.
Hampton will visit N.C. A&T on January 1 to start its league schedule and will continue on the road that weekend to visit Campbell on January 3.
The Pirates will be home for the first time in 2027 on January 8 hosting defending CAA Champion Charleston and following that will be a visit from Northeastern on January 10.
The first of two northern road trips follows as Hampton visits William & Mary on January 15 and from there heads to Towson for a Sunday, January 17 encounter.
Hampton ends January with three of its last four games inside the Convocation Center as they host UNCW (Jan. 22), Hofstra (Jan. 24) and a rematch with William & Mary (Jan. 31) with a road game to Elon (Jan. 29) breaking up that stretch.
February starts much like January did as the Pirates have the rematch with N.C. A&T on February 5. They'll then have their second northern swing as they visit Stony Brook (Feb. 12) and Monmouth (Feb. 14).
A split weekend follows with a road trip to UNCW (Feb. 19) before entertaining Drexel at home on February 21. The Pirates close February hosting Towson (Feb. 26) and Elon (Feb. 28).
Hampton closes the regular season on March 4 in Charleston, S.C. facing the Cougars.
Each team will play 18 conference games over a 10-week stretch using a Friday/Sunday format, apart from the final week of the regular season (Thursday/Saturday). All contests can be seen on FloCollege, with some games also airing on local linear television affiliates.
All 13 CAA teams conclude the season at the 2027 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, which will be held March 10-14, 2027 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. Seven different schools have captured the title over the past eight years.
