2020 - FRESHMAN SEASON
With an impressive freshman season Chavez led the lady Pirates in runs scored (27), stolen bases (13), batting avg. (.352), and on base pct. (471) and second in slugging pct. (.574)…she was third on the team in hits (19), and tied fourth in Runs batted in (12)…had four multiple hit games…had four multiple RBI’s Games…had an nine game hitting streak…reached base 16 times in 19 games…was 3- for- 3 with three Runs scored, two RBI’s, and one stolen base against George Washington University February 15…went 2- for- 2 with three runs scored, against Delaware State February 28…was 2- for- 3 with two runs scored, two RBI’s, and one home run against Morehead State March 1…was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week (Feb. 28 – Mar. 1).
