2010 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 49 games for the Lady Pirates, making 46 starts… hit .285 on the season, with 37 hits in 130 at-bats… scored 29 runs on the season… had five doubles and six home runs… hit a school-record four home runs in one game on April 2 against Maryland-Eastern Shore, including a walk-off shot… named MEAC Player of the Week on April 5… drove in 22 runs on the season, while totaling 60 bases… had a .462 slugging percentage and .371 on-base percentage… went 3-for-4 in stolen base attempts… recorded 31 put-outs and 26 assists, along with just eight errors, for an .877 fielding percentage.

2009 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 49 games for the Lady Pirates, making 48 starts… hit .238 on the season, recording 30 hits in 126 at-bats… scored 15 runs… hit five doubles and drove in 11 runs… slugged .278… walked 16 times and struck out 23 times… had an on-base percentage of .340… stole six bases in seven attempts… recorded 206 put-outs with 29 assists, while only committing five errors for a team-best .979 fielding percentage.

CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Played basketball and softball all four years at City… hit .550 as a sophomore, earning First Team All-City and All-Area honors… led all of Western Michigan with a .600 batting average her junior year, again being named First Team All-City and All-Area… earned All-District and All-Area honors as a senior, hitting over .600… helped City win the 2008 District 9 World Series.

PERSONAL
Born on May 18, 1990… daughter of Sharon Gardei… has one sister, Sarah (31), and one brother, Chris (28)… nicknamed Becky… was featured in the Grand Rapids Press… majoring in biology… wants to attend medical school and become a plastic surgeon.
