Played in 51 games for the Lady Pirates, making 49 starts… hit .290 for the season, recording 40 hits in 138 at-bats… scored 28 runs… hit five doubles, two triples and three home runs… drove in 22 runs on the season… had a .420 slugging percentage and a .381 on-base percentage… walked 16 times… recorded 102 put-outs and 82 assists with 12 errors for a .939 fielding percentage.

2009 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 47 games for the Lady Pirates, making 45 starts… hit .328 on the season with 45 hits and 28 runs scored… tied for the team lead with eight doubles and hit seven home runs… led the team with 35 RBI… slugged .540 on the season… walked 12 times and had 22 strikeouts… was hit by a pitch a team-high five times… had a .400 on-base percentage… recorded 58 put-outs with 91 assists, while only committing nine errors for a .943 fielding percentage.

GWYNN PARK HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year player on the Gwynn Park softball team… earned Rookie of the Year honors her freshman year… set state records in hits and RBIs as a sophomore, earning team MVP honors… broke her own state RBI records as a junior, against earning MVP accolades… broke the RBI record yet again as a senior, earning MVP honors in both softball and soccer.

Born on March 27, 1990… daughter of Carol and Gary Estep… has one brother, Lovell (15)… uncle Eric Malloy and cousin Freddie Graham each attended Hampton University… nicknamed Shardy… was featured in The Washington Post and The Gazette… majoring in computer science… wants to work for the government as a computer engineer.
