2020 - SOPHOMORE SEASON 
Played in six games making five starts for the Pirates…finish the season with 55 ground balls and one caused turnover…had season best of 16 ground balls at Greensboro College on March 11 and recorded 13 ground balls at Bellarmine on February 11…ended with five shots on goals and ended with one point on one goal.

2019 - FRESHMAN SEASON  
Played in 11 games for the Pirates…recorded 103 ground balls and two caused turnovers on the season…had three games with 10 or more ground balls…had season best of 18 ground balls against Chowan April 17, 2019…finished the season with eight shots on goal and ended with three points on two goals and one assist…he average 1.09 shots per game, 0.18 goals per game and 0.27 points per game…scored a goal against Greensboro March 2, 2019, and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) April 6, 2019...won 70 percent of his face-offs.

HIGH SCHOOL
Ian was a 3 Year Varsity lacrosse Letterman at  St. Johns College High School....he was a member of the 2017 WCAC Championship Team for Lacrosse. Senior year, 1st Team All-Conference WCAC, 80% Faceoff Win Percentage, 2 goals, 5 assists, 43 groundballs... Member of 2016-2017 Nation United National Lacrosse Team....Member of 2017 Blackwolf Lacrosse Team....Member of 2017 Maryland Brine All American Classic Team.....memeber of the National Honors Society, Eagle Scout, 1 Year Letterman- Varsity Wrestling at St. John’s, received Honors with Distinction 12 times.



PERSONAL
Son of LaTonya Groom…He will be majoring in Criminal Justice.
